My name is Harrison Topp, I am one of the owners of Topp Fruits in Hotchkiss and Paonia, Colorado.
We have a partnership with Rancho Durazno.
For two farms who share a really close friendship, who have a lot in common, who care deeply about stewardship, who care deeply about taking care of our workforce, It just makes sense to work together rather than compete.
It's something we started about two years ago, and it's a really great opportunity for us to grow our market share.
I delivered cherries here today that are going to be put on a truck here at the Rancho Durazno packing shed and then go to Denver, where we will have a shared truck in Denver that is going to help distribute the combination of Rancho Durazno peaches and Topp Fruits cherries.
This is like, the perfect box of peaches.
I'm K-Lynn Cameron, and I am the manager of the Rancho Durazno fruit stand at the Larimer County Farmers Market in Fort Collins.
“Peach samples!
Wanna try them?” My brother started Rancho Durazno in Palisade, and now his youngest daughter, Gwen, is the farmer.
Palisade peaches are are well known and we do have really long lines and we try to keep them moving.
“Here you go, enjoy!” that I'm not off.
They're going it slow.
Sorry.
Do you have boxes of grapes and how we're going to sell a lot of half boxes, Right?
Okay.
The younger ones.
Thanks.
we market our product together, and then we share certain responsibilities around logistics and coordinating shipping, coordinating sales, things like that.
