All right, lets rock and roll.

We're here today for our annual snow roadeo.

It's a part of a big week of training where we prepare for the upcoming 25-26 snow season.

Okay, now we're going to back up.

We're going backwards, actually, on the course.

We're doing everything backwards.

Today we have competitors from the Streets Division, Parks, Recreation, Open Space and Aurora water.

And they all come out here to showcase their skills and talents in three different courses.

We have the snowplow, the tandem axle snowplow, the front end loader and the skid steer.

And so basically we have a series of obstacles and maneuvers set up that simulate some of what they're going to find out in the field when they're actually plowing snow during the winter, whether that be a cul de sac or a park car or what have you.

And so they'll go through each of the courses.

And then we do have judges from various departments that assist with the scoring.

The completion of this without hitting a cone is 400 points.

You have this roadeo which showcases the skills and the maneuverability of the plow and the equipment, and you get to learn the parameters of your equipment and kind of all of those things together help when you're actually out there plowing snow.

I hope the public realize when we're out there plowing snow.
