So if they come to school with an empty belly, their stomach is growling.
And I believe that they're not paying attention to school.
And that's why we have sometimes a lot of kids that are throwing tantrums and acting out.
And then when the they come and get breakfast with us and everything, they're they're more relaxed.
Today is tamales.
Were having tamales with beans and rice.
Food is very important for everything, for to calm you down, to calm your nerves, your belly, and for you to relax.
And I think food is a thing that specially kids should not worry about.
Come on, come on.
I go around the tables and if I don't theyre eating “You know we have this.” or, “do you want something else?
You know, because I see that they only come with chips, and I do go offer them, you know, “we have pizza today,” or “we have hamburger today,” and some of them get up and eat.
But it's very important for a kid to have a meal.
I think food is like love.
You have food, you're happy.
