An artist's message to her community: Boulder Strong

Alejandra Abad's flags are familiar to the residents of Boulder. In both English and Spanish, Abad uses her art to convey messages of community and strength. After the King Soopers shooting, Abad created a new flag with a simple message: Boulder Strong. It was one of hundreds of pieces of art on display at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art.
