COLORADO STATE OF MIND

Childhood Obesity/Veteran Care

  • Aired: 06/21/2013
  • 25:13
  • Rating: NR
A state law passed in 2011 requires 30 minutes a day of physical activity for all Colorado elementary school students. Now a new report from I-News at Rocky Mountain PBS examines whether HB 2011-1069 has had at any impact on the rising problem of childhood obesity. We'll also talk to author Dave Phillips about veterans who are not receiving the post-combat care they need.
